Vacuum silo foils for improved silage respiration. Direct covering of the top plant layer provides better underlay foil clinging to silage, prevents air bubbles between the sheet and the silage. The moisture in the silage pulls in the transparent underlay sheet to the silage to enable anaerobic fermentation. Prevents or eliminates air ingress to the stored feed. Protects silage at the side walls and points of silage contact with the silo to prevent water and air ingress.
